About Peter

I am American (from Boston) and lived in Sydney for over 20 years until my wife and I moved to Forster. After spending most of my career in the corporate world, I decided to make a change which would allow me to follow one of my greatest passions – animals.

Having grown up with dogs (I currently have a Labrador named George), I understand the pleasure and comfort that dogs bring to people and how important they can be. I have noted that busy families and many retirees with dogs are grateful for someone who can help them exercise/socialise their dog during the week.

This is why I decided to start a Professional Dog Walking & Pet Care business; I wanted to help other dog owners ensure that, on a regular basis, their dog gets the exercise and socialisation it needs to be happy and healthy. I ran DOG TREK in Sydney for 7 years until relocating the business to Forster.

Why is my job so rewarding? Firstly I get to participate in daily adventures with fabulous dogs of all shapes and sizes. Also, caring for the treasured pets of my clients allows me the opportunity to add real value to people’s lives and the community.
