As puppies they are so incredibly cute, but also mischievous which adds to their charm. They will chew things, run off with things, tear clothes apart and despite all this one look at their face and your heart melts; you just can’t stay mad at him/her despite the damage done!
Labs are one of the most trainable dogs you could have and they will love you like no other! And, no other dog can match a Lab’s playfulness-they are always up for a good game. These dogs are very family oriented and great with children (even babies).
Originally bred to hunt small downed waterfowl, they also lead the blind, act as hearing dogs and do police and military work.
